What we do with your email address

We keep your address on our own mail server so we can tell you when a virtual employee opens. We do not share it, we do not sell it, and you can have it deleted the same day by replying "delete" to any mail from us.

Counting visits, without cookies

Every page counts its own visits on our own server: how many, which pages, and which site sent you. It is aggregate and it identifies nobody — the IP address is never written down, the browser's user agent is never written down, there is no cookie, no device fingerprint and nothing stored in your browser. Uniques for a day come from a one-way scrambled value built from part of the request plus a random secret that we destroy the next day, so it cannot be turned back into an address and nothing can be linked across days. The counts sit on our own server, and no banner asks you about them because they keep nothing about you. Google Analytics is the only thing on this site that would store something on your device, and it stays off unless you say yes.

Why we may keep it

Because you asked us to, by clicking the link in the confirmation mail. That click is your consent, and it is the only legal basis we rely on. Until you click, nothing is stored at all.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also complain to Datatilsynet, the Danish data protection authority.
