The job

Sits in the room, listens, and hands you the minutes before people have left. Names who said what, separates decision from discussion, and pulls out every action with an owner. The alternative on the market is a cloud notetaker — and the meetings worth minuting are the pay reviews and the board discussions.

How far it goes on its own

Records, transcribes and writes unattended. It never circulates the minutes — a human reads them and sends.

Where it is weak

• Open transcription models fabricate — they invent a plausible sentence rather than leave a gap. Around 1% of segments on clean audio, and published work finds far more on bad audio. So the tape is kept, every line is timestamped, and silence is gated out before transcription.
• Speaker separation degrades when people talk over each other, which in most meetings is most of the time.
• Danish and English are both good. Mixed-language meetings are the hardest case and need calibration.
• Recording people has consent obligations. The guide covers the notice, not just the software.
